New Monks Farm Development

Planning Permission is being requested for an IKEA superstore with parking, 600 homes, a country park, a new school (located right beside the A27 with the consequential pollution), a new traffic light controlled roundabout to replace the Sussex Pad lights.  If these plans go ahead, expect even worse traffic chaos.

The full set of plans are now available on Adur and Worthing Councils' planning portal.  If you don't want even more traffic chaos in this area, you need to comment on the plans.  You can do so online through the Adur and Worthing Councils' planning portal.
